Join Rabbi Loren Monosov for a twice-monthly Introduction to Judaism class, which follows the curriculum of the Miller Introduction to Judaism Program at American Jewish University.
The class is perfect for non-Jewish partners raising Jewish children, those who want to convert to Judaism, those who want a Judaism refresher course, and anyone interested in learning more.
Topics include Jewish History, from Creation to Modern Time:
- Lifecycle, from Birth to Death;
- Shabbat and Holidays;
- Biblical and Rabbinic Texts;
- Prayer and God;
- Israel and the Hebrew Language;
- Rituals and Kashrut;
- Tikkun Olam (Repairing the World)
Those who are interested in converting to Judaism can take this class and it may culminate in a personalized conversion for you with Rabbi Monosov.
