Members of local houses of worship in the valley will walk either a 1- or 6-mile route to raise funds to alleviate hunger around the corner and around the world. Starting and ending at the First Congregational Church, 131 Pascack Road, Park Ridge, the walk benefits the Hillsdale and Tri-boro Food banks and Family Promise of Bergen County, The American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (AJJDC) (aka “The Joint”), and MAZON, the Jewish Response to Hunger.
